| This beautiful card, Uluru by Champagne, photograph by Basia Meder from the exhibition Outback Celebration, poem by Jennifer Avriel Martiniello from The Imprint of Infinity (Tidbinbilla Press, ACT), had been produced and was sold to raise funds to establish a National Youth Writing for Reconciliation Project. In 1998 Basia Meder donated the $400 collected profit raised from the sale of the cards to the Tuggeranong Arts Centre, ACT. It was her personal way to participate in the building of a renewed, united Australia, and at the same time support the literary and creative development of our youth. |
