I live in Canberra, Australia, in a modest but comfortable suburban house decorated with many colourful photographs and souvenirs from my trips. I have created a "bush garden" around it, a place of solitude, privacy, friendship and joy. I spend many peaceful hours working or resting in my garden, photographing its changes and often sipping champagne with friends.

My son, Chris, is also living in Canberra. I have two grandsons, Julian (born in 1997) and Riker (born in 1999). My Mum still lives in Poland and I have other close family members living in Europe.
